1. Acceptance
By using TempFiles you agree to these terms.
2. The service
TempFiles hosts files temporarily and deletes them automatically after the period you choose (1 to 48 hours), or earlier if you delete them. It is meant for legitimate sharing of documents, media, backups and similar files.
3. Limits
- Maximum 100 MB per file
- Up to 200 uploads per hour per user
- Files are kept for at most 48 hours
- No account required
4. Prohibited content
You must not upload or share: child sexual abuse material (zero tolerance, reported to authorities); malware or other malicious code; phishing, fraud or spam; content that infringes copyright or other rights; personal data of others without consent; content promoting violence, hate or terrorism; adult sexual content.
5. Retention & privacy
Files are deleted when their timer runs out. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. We keep a salted hash of the uploader's IP address to enforce limits and handle abuse. Anyone with a link (and the password, if set) can download the file. This site shows third-party advertising, which may use cookies.
6. Reporting
Use "Report this file" on any file page, or email abuse@tempfiles.xyz. We may remove any file at any time.
7. No warranty
The service is provided "as is". We are not liable for lost data, downtime, or damages from using it.
8. Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use means you accept them.
